As part of a recent earnings call, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen discussed how Bioware's make-or-break project Anthem, likely won't launch with microtransactions.This is almost definitely a response to the likes of Belgium and China changing their laws surrounding loot box implementation, and means the game could struggle with balance and progression.
