Composition in photography or any art really is everything and although you should keep practicing cropping inside the camera while shooting it can be done in post photoshop. The best way to practice cropping photos is to either try various types of crops in photoshop where you can relax and think or shoot still subjects, like architecture or landscapes, using a tripod. Tripod is a brilliant piece of gear that slows you down and makes you think. It also lets you see a still frame of a composed image for a longer time which should be enough to decide whether it is good or you need to recompose. In this video I will show you how I crop my images and why I do so this way or another based on an example of the same photo cropped in many various ways to achieve different moods and aims.
