There Are Going To Be Three More Seasons Of "Orange Is The New Black"

That’s right. Netflix has already ordered up Seasons 5, 6, and 7.

Netflix has announced that Orange Is the New Black will return for THREE more seasons, in addition to Season 4 launching in June. Jenji Kohan will continue as showrunner and executive producer.

This is quite unusual. Multiple seasons of shows aren't typically announced in advance, but this IS Netflix. Just last week Netflix announced the fifth season of House of Cards before the fourth has even debuted.

Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, 'May you lead an interesting life,' is a curse, but I don't live in those cultures. Here's to keeping it interesting. Thanks Netflix!
