It’s not going to happen.
Friends co-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane crushed dreams when they told The Hollywood Reporter that a reboot, in which the six friends reunite, would never happen.
"It will never happen, but no one tends to believe me. It shouldn't happen," Kauffman said. "That show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. Once you start having a family, that time of your life is over."
Crane added that the show, which aired its final episode in 2004 after a 10-year-run, concluded as the creators had intended. "To revisit those characters just seems like a bad idea — you don't want to see them hanging out in the coffeehouse now."
