The "Star Wars" Facebook Shut Down A Sexist Comment About A Badass New Female Character

“Female armor” only needs to be good protection for a female warrior.

There haven't been many details released about the character, but Phasma is being played by Gwendoline Christie.

Of course, Christie already has a ton of experience playing badass female characters through her role as Brienne of Tarth on Game of Thrones.

In anticipation of the upcoming movie, the team behind Star Wars is hosting a fan art contest and posting some of the submissions online.

On Thursday, Star Wars posted a drawing to its Facebook page that a fan named Seth Groves submitted. The drawing was of Captain Phasma.
